Stories That Keep Us Going

These are not just reviews. These are the reasons we wake up every morning and do what we do.

Bidur handled everything — permits, hotels, guide, transport. Sonam took us to a monastery not on any tourist map. That evening, watching monks pray as the sun set over the Himalayan peaks, was the most spiritual moment of my life. I cried. I’m not ashamed to say that.

I am 68 years old. Thinley was patient, careful, and genuinely concerned about my comfort at every step. When I stood at Gurudongmar Lake, I thought — this is why I lived this long. Bidur personally called me the day after to ask if I was well. That is not service — that is family.

Pema found us a tea estate where my children could pick their own tea leaves. The owner brought homemade snacks. My daughter still talks about that afternoon. No travel agency itinerary could have created that moment — only someone who truly loves the place.

Quick Answers

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before booking your Himalayan adventure.

Do Indian citizens need a visa to visit Bhutan?

No. Indian citizens only need a valid Passport or Voter ID card. A Bhutan Entry Permit is required and is processed at Phuentsholing — the border town directly opposite our Jaigaon office. We handle all permit paperwork for our guests at no extra charge.

How much does a Bhutan tour package cost from Jaigaon?

Packages start from ₹8,000 per person for a 3-day trip to Phuentsholing and Thimphu. A 5-day package typically costs ₹12,000–18,000 per person and a 7-day full tour ranges from ₹18,000–₹25,000 per person. All packages include accommodation, meals, a local guide, transfers, and permit processing. No hidden charges.

What is the best time to visit Bhutan?

March to May (spring) is ideal for clear Himalayan views and rhododendron blooms. September to November (autumn) is perfect for cultural festivals like the Thimphu Tshechu and Paro Festival. We advise avoiding June to August due to heavy monsoon rains and road closures on mountain passes.

Can I customise my tour itinerary?

Absolutely. Every tour we plan is built around you — your budget, travel style, group size, and must-see places. We do not sell fixed group tours. Whether it is a solo trekker, a family with seniors, or a couple on honeymoon, we create a personalised itinerary from scratch. WhatsApp us to get started.

How do I book a tour with WanderWaysHolidays?

The easiest way is to WhatsApp us at +91 89440 43577 or fill the enquiry form on our Contact page. You can also walk into our office at Vivekananda Pally, Near Tarak Workshop, Jaigaon 736182. We typically respond within 2 hours and share a detailed cost breakdown with no obligation to book.

Do you offer tours to places other than Bhutan?

Yes — we cover 7 Himalayan destinations: Bhutan, Darjeeling, Sikkim, Kalimpong, Nepal, Dooars, and Northeast India. We also offer popular combo routes such as Bhutan + Darjeeling, Sikkim + Darjeeling + Gangtok, and Nepal Pokhara + Chitwan. All tours depart from Jaigaon, NJP, or Bagdogra.
